En el año 1989 el Ayuntamiento cedió el edificio para la instalación de este Museo. Es uno de los lugares más visitados de la localidad y en el muestra parte de sus fondos compuestos por pintura esculturas, vestuarios, y documentación relacionada con los tipos de teatro desde el Greco-romano, hasta nuestros días.
Encontraras los siguientes temas:
- El Teatro Greco-Romano y medieval, en la Sala I
- Durante los S. XII al XV.
- El S. XVIII, XIX con Don Juan Tenorio y el Romanticismo.
- La Sala V de esta planta con el Teatro Popular, teatro de arte y las vanguardias… la Sala VI, con el Teatro Lírico.
- Y terminamos la visita saliendo al claustro de este castillo-palacio, en un edificio mudéjar del S. XIII.

NATIONAL THEATER MUSEUM IN ALMAGRO
In 1989 the City Council ceded the building for the installation of this Museum. It is one of the most visited places in the town and in the sample part of its funds composed of painting sculptures, costumes, and documentation related to the types of theater from the Greco-Roman to our days.

- During the 12th to 15th centuries.
- The eighteenth century, XIX with Don Juan Tenorio and Romanticism.
